it started with a dream. a woman crying, sad and alone. never thought that ill be dreaming of her.. but im glad i did. i reached out.. and talked to her.. without thinking what she might say. she may get mad or get irritated, but i dont care. i just want her to know that im still here.. willing to listen.. willing to give company.. and at last.. mejo settled na at naaus na ang gap between me and ate anne. almost 5 months din kaming di nag-usap. gosh. i so so miss her na. she didnt change a bit. uber kulit pa rin nya.. well.. atleast.. oki na kami kahit papaano.. and i know reyds will be hapi pag naging ok na kami tlga.. i just hope and pray that she'll be strong enough to handle whatever quandaries she has right now..

Today is the first get-together of the elesians.. unexpected GT actually. XD syempre.. di ako papayag na di ko sila mameet or mkasama man lamang before vacation noh. haha. We even agreed that we will have our lunch sa Chowking. (pra malapit)ahihihi.. and we DID.. yey!ü Plus, the search for Neo is over. It finally came to an end. lols. haha. kla mo lolo neo ha. :p bleh. well, with the help of sui ofcourse.. hahahaha. we owe you sui! :) Sayang lang.. coz he wasn't able to come with us.. haysss.. nman kasi tong lolo na toh XD busy-busyhan.. si Sui nga.. iniwan ung thesis work nya for us.. hmpf! nkakatmapo! joke! hehehe. syang tlga.. andun pa man din si litratisa aka Dr. Vasquez. hehehe. IMPROVING MEMORY


Test success often relies on a good memory. Success in college courses requires that you master the material of the course and that you remember what you have learned when you take exams. Many students feel that their academic problems stem not from a failure to learn the course material but rather from a failure to retain it. You have probably had the experience of knowing something "cold" the night before an important exam, then having your mind go blank during the test. But your memory can be improved.


If you review research on memory and learning, you will find that there exists a vast amount of information on the subject. But in learning to become more personally and academically effective, you are probably most interested in seeing how this knowledge can be put into practice. In other words, how can it help you improve your memory? Thus, we focus on memory techniques and strategies.


First is the imagination. It is what you use to create and strengthen the associations needed to create effective mnemonics. Make a picture in your mind's eye. The more strongly you imagine and visualize a situation, the more effectively it will stick in your mind for later recall. The imagery you use in your mnemonics can be as violent, vivid, or sensual as you like, as long as it helps you to remember.


Second is association. This is the method by which you link a thing to be remembered to a way of remembering it. You can create associations by linking them using the same color, smell, shape, feeling or sound. (pag nag ttake down notes kami ni kevs.. nagddrawing kami! may mga bahay-bahay.. hahahaha )


Third is recitation and repetition. Use it before you lose it. To remember something, access it a lot: read it, write it, speak it, listen to it, and apply it. Find ways to make contact with the material regularly. Study groups are especially effective because they allow you to teach the material. Explaining it to other students helps you focus your attention.


Fourth is the use of acronyms. This is a well-loved way for memorizing lists. The mind's eye recalls short blocks of capital. Like the use of ROY G. BIV for the seven colors of the rainbow. :)


Fifth is writing it down. Our muscles have better memories than our heads. Note-taking is a muscle activity. That is why the act of taking notes -- even if you never look at them again -- will get you higher marks on a test than just listening. (gawain ko toh! kya ayan. ubus mga papel. =Þ )


Sixth is singing. Make up a tune for the information, or sing the words you need to remember to music you know and love. Creating a jingle or a tune of what you'll memorize is an example. If it rhymes, better. (di ba mas madali nating nasasaulo mga commercials.. lalo na pag kinakanta. haha :D )


Finally, be aware of attitudes. If you believe a subject is difficult or boring, it probably will be. We often only remember what we find interesting. Put in mind that everything is related to everything else. Look for connections.


Eating foods that are rich in fiber and nutrients can also help. Psychologically, red foods memory like strawberries and watermelon ease depression, promoting a positive attitude, which aids memory. Good oils, such as olive and flax, also appear to buffer our brain. This includes nuts and chocolates. (yey! i love sweets! <3 ) Remember, you never forget. Adopt an attitude that says, "I never forget anything, although I may have difficulty recalling something from my memory. All I have to do is find where I stored it." Positive thinking works! (geh! go lang nang go! haha.) Good memory is made, not born. Memory works like a bank. What you deposit is what you withdraw, and only you have the power to deposit what you want in your memory.

Im about to post another topic today.. but then.. my katamaran strikes again and my craving for sweets utter my brain. XD yan tuloy.. puro chocos nlang nsa utak ko. <_<>


i dunno.. i just love SWEETS.. promise.. it can change my mood. haha. :) Kanina, I was day dreaming that i have a fridge full of chocolates.. like what Vicky Belo has. haha. i dont care if its imported or local.. bsta chocolate sya.. period. hehehe. =) hmm... na miss ko tuloy ang elbi. grabe.. pro ok lang.. lapit lang nman walter mart.. madaling bumili pag inatake! haha.


speaking of sweet. hmm.. ung kakulitan ko kagabi was really sweet and uber kulet XD haha. guess who. =Þ if im not mistaken.. i think it was 12am na nung natulog kami.. kasi nman weh.. haha! la lang.. na kwento ko lang. i just find him really sweet.. pra syang KitKat. haha. =Þ showbizz. well.. thanks to him. nwala bad trip ko. hehe.. thanks.

these past few days.. na hooked ako sa site na toh. actually it's a forum. haha. forum ng skul ko. hehe. =) si jenkz at kevs kasi weh. they were uber kulit. sabi mag register daw ako. araw- araw nalang ganun XD. and i thank them for that! haha. ngaun.. i've met a lot of people that i can actually see in person.. unlike some other forums.. na impossibleng makita mo lhat IRL. :( most of the people there.. were.. mlamang skulmates ko. haha.. some in different year levels. and im proud to say.. na dumadami na ang lahi namin :) yey! yey!

Jenkz and I were talking. gusto namin mag karon ng grand EB before our admins leave the skul. Syempre naman.. bago sila gumraduate. gusto namin may gathering noh. :) pra ma meet namin lhat ang members.. if im not mistaken, 60 plang members ng forum. our target is atleast 100 XD. ahehehe. :D 40 to go! kaya natin toh jenkz! haha! ok. today. is a VERY stressful day. really.. sobra tlga! err.. agang-aga. fufu tlga. i left home quarter to seven this morning. i was caught in a long traffic. that is why im forced to walk from calamba terminal to carmelray industiral park just for me not to be late for the seminar. as if?! <_< can u imagine that?! gudness tlga!!! worse... it started to rain. T_T how was that?! O.o . luckily, they were not able to start the seminar on time.. kasi 3 lang kaming andun. haha. by the way.. i arrived skul at around 9am na. <_<

According to the speaker, she said that stress is defined as any action or situation that places special physical or psychological demands upon a person and is an interactive process that occurs as an individual adapts to the demands placed upon the person. We are not alive pag wala daw stress XD. haha. Stress can either be positive or negative.. Postive stress can motivate you while the other one can destruct you. (naks. nakikinig ako) haha. LOL.
